Took a drive up Breckenridge Road in Kern County California. A beautiful warm spring day in early April, 2010. This is the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and taken all the way up this road goes past Mt. Breckenridge.

This will be a great year for wildflowers in our area. It is still officially winter with weather to match and we already have an abundance of early wildflowers in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
